On-Page optimization includes optimiziing your headlines, HTML (title, meta, header) tags and images. It also means making sure your website has a high level of expertise, authoritativeness, and trustworthiness.

In On-page optimization technique, we have different factors to optimize the website, such as the following:
- URL
- Meta Title
- Meta description
- Headings
- Content
- Links
- Images
- Videos
On- Page Optimization Factors :
URL :
- Include the focus keyword in the URL (Except for Home Page).
Meta title :
Meta Title is the Title tag, which is given in Title. The Following are the factors for Meta Title.
- 60-65 characters
- Include the focus keyword
- Keep it in beginning of the sentence
- Make it compelling enough to click
- Keep it unique
- Keep it in title case
- Keep the brand name at the end
Meta Description :
Meta Description is the description we gave below the Title. Meta description may or may not be in the search page. The following are the factors of Meta Description.
- 170 characters
- Include the focus keyword begining of the sentence
- Include the other keywords (if promise)
- Make it like the summary of the page
- Keep it unique
- Keep it in sentence case
- Keep the brand name at the end
Headings (H1,H2,H3,H4,H5 and H6) :
Headings are in different sizes, where we give specific sizes for Title of the pages, Sub- Headings and all.
- H1 – keep the focus keyword
- Use title case
- H2-H6 – keep other relevant keywords (if possible)
Content :
Content means where we give the description about a particular topic in every page.
- Include focus keyword and other keywords
- Each page should have at least 300 words of content
- Keep the keywords prominently for about 2% of words (keep it in bold, italics).
- Use synonyms and related words instead of repeating the focus keyword too many times (Humming Bird)
- Distribute keywords evenly across the content
Links ( Both External and Internal )
- Internal links – provide links to all relevant internal pages
- External links – provide links to all external websites
Two different types of links : Do follow and No follow. If a link is specified as no follow ( by specifying rel= No follow in the anchor tag), users can see that as a link but it will be blinded for the search engines. It means no authority will be followed from current website to the linked website.
Images :
- Keep the keywords in file name
- Keep the keywords in alt tag.
* Always use lowercase for filenames and use hyphens (-) to separate the words. Alt tag is like the description of the image.
Videos :
- Embed relevant videos from youtube
- Provide a short description which contains relevant keywords.
